Synopsis
Canada's Next Top Model is a Canadian reality show in which female contestants compete for the title "Canada's Next Top Model" and a chance to start their career in the modeling industry. The winner receives a modeling contract from Elmer Olsen Modeling Agency, a $100,000 beauty contract from Procter & Gamble, and an editorial spread in Fashion magazine. CNTM is based on the successful American franchise America's Next Top Model. It is produced by Temple Street Productions in association with CTVglobemedia and CBS Paramount International TV. Three cycles have been produced and aired.

Canada's Next Top Model takes it first season on May 31, 2006 features a dynamic reality show format – the viewers not only witness an intense competition to find a top model but also the impact of the competition in the day-to-day lives of a diverse group of contestants. In the end, Andrea Muizelaar beat out her competition to become the first winner of "Canada's Next Top Model".

Canada's Next Top Model, Cycle 2 began airing on May 30, 2007. Jay Manuel serves as the host after season 1 host Tricia Helfer left to pursue her acting career. Serving as judges are Jeanne Beker, who is the only returning judge from last season, Paul Alexander, and Yasmin Warsame. The finale aired on July 18, 2007 in which Rebecca Hardy defeated Sinead Brady and won the competition. This was the last cycle aired on Citytv before it moved to CTV starting next season. Encore presentations aired on A-Channel, Star! and FashionTelevisionChannel. This cycle's tagline was "Fabulous, fierce, ready for the world!"
